Sewing Series – Machine Foundations + Zipper Pouch

Get a comprehensive understanding of how to use a sewing machine in this immersive introductory class.

Using one of our studio sewing machines you will learn the ins and outs of machine setup and operation including: threading, winding the bobbin, changing the needle, switching out the presser foot and selecting stitch length/type. We will troubleshoot common problems, discuss and demystify the machine. With some practice and repetition the machine will become more approachable and you will leave with the skills and the confidence to sew.
